I know firsthand the drama, trauma, chaos, pain, uncertainty, stuckness, depression, and angst life transitions can bring.
Divorce. Career changes. Empty nest. Menopause. Aging parents. Retirement. Creative rut. Downsizing. Geographic relocation. Existential crises.
I also know the joy, thrill, excitement, hydration, fullness, expansiveness, adventure, contentment, and fun of thriving on the other side of change.
Boy howdy, it wasn’t easy or graceful getting there, though. My MO was to muscle through transitions. Struggle. Spin my wheels until I was up to the hubcaps in indecision, doubt, and turmoil.
I consumed self-help books by the dozen. Single-handedly kept my therapist in business. Ran off friends who couldn’t stand to hear one more round of, “I just don’t know what to do!” or, “What is my problem?!” or, “Why is it so haaaaarrrrrd?!”
I made it through challenging situations…but it was all just…So. Haaaaaarrrrrrd.
I wish I had known then what I know now about life coaching. I used to think life coaching was…well…a made up thing. Kinda cheezy. Maybe a little self-indulgent.
Through my life coach training, I’ve found it’s anything but. During a year of intensive study, I acquired a metric ton of useful tools; learned helpful techniques; and discovered a trove of resources. Together, it’s a whole kit to McGuyver the way through changes, transitions, and transformations; big or small; intentional or circumstantial; ready or not.
You can, like I did, handle life changes on your own—simply read dozens of self-help books, go to therapy for a decade, wave good-bye to your pals, then spend a year in intensive life coach training.
Or…you can book a free session to chat about how I might help you accelerate the process.
I look forward to being of service!
xoxo,
